Who are you?
I'm a Japanese-English translator. I can do a bit of Chinese as well, but I'd rather not translate any Chinese works until I become more confident with my skills.
What do you translate?
Anything literary. I primarily deal with manga since you can easily play around with the words and expressions.
In terms of genre, anything goes. There aren't many, if any, things I'm averse to.
So you're willing to translate this series that nobody is willing to touch?
Pretty much. The only things that would actually prevent me from translating it are lack of legibility and personal circumstance.
Great! How do I send a request?
Send an email to krachek.translation@gmail.com about it with "REQUEST" somewhere in the subject line. Also, if you have any specifications on font or whatever, include that as well.
When I am done with the translation/editing process, I'll send the finished copy directly to you. I will not release requests publicly unless asked. If you do want it to be released on the site, let me know.
Please include a link to the original Japanese product if you can - if I can't find it online, tough luck.
How long will it take for you to complete a request?
Depends. It might take a week, or perhaps longer than two months. I don't have a fixed schedule.
Do you accept donations/commissions?

Now, here's the thing about commissions - it's essentially a business transaction. Because of my erratic workload, I'd rather complete the request before receiving any money for it. I don't want you to wait around for half a year after paying me.
After I send you the finished product, you can choose how much you want to pay me based on your satisfaction. You may even choose to not pay me anything at all.

Well, theoretically, yes. The reason I'm doing translation work is because I'm basically a NEET, so any contribution helps. If I do well in this endeavor, I might start doing it full-time.
